Crash

I knew it was going to be a nice day so me and my brother headed to the banks trail. We got to the switchbacks and my brother was out in front of me and I hit some black ice and went down hard. My shoulder was in pain my thumb started swelling up and my helmet was cracked , my bikes front derailleur was hitting my tire and after switching gears it was fine for now. So we rode back the 14 miles to get a cell signal so my bro could call mom for a ride to urgent care. We called as soon as there was a cell signal, mom says alright I'll be there soon, we arrived at the banks trail head and saw mom and dad, we tell them what happened then we had to figure out how I was going to get my bike back home, a lady says Danny! "my dad" it was a lady he works with, she offered to take my bike home but there was only room for one bike so my dad decide to ride home with my brother which was a better plan because it was going to get dark soon. So onto urgent care, we get there and do the usual paperwork. The nurse takes my info then I wait for what seems like forever, in the meantime I'm really tired so I used the palms of my hands to rest my head on but if you've ever done that you know your eyes we'll get red. The doctor comes in and says what happened I tell her then she notices my eyes are red, have you been smoking marijuana? I was thinking is this what you ask people who come into urgent care, I get some X-rays done and everything came back fine. 37.1 Miles today. Update: now its legal, For the record I think people that smoke pot are low down dirty people. We have all these dam pot shops popping up everywhere in Oregon and I turn my head to avoid looking at them.
