Weather Channel lied

I originally planned to ride the Banks-Vernonia trail, but things didn’t go as expected. The Weather Channel looked good yesterday and today, so I decided to give it a try. When I reached Leisy Road, it started sprinkling, so I turned around, thinking it might get worse. I really wanted to ride, but without rain gear, I wasn’t prepared. Eventually, the rain clouds cleared, so I turned back again, though I stayed cautious of the dark clouds looming over Wilkesboro and Highway 47. I opted for a shorter route, but that didn’t go well either—it started pouring rain, and I got soaked, only to dry off on the way home. Laugh out loud.
