Weather Channel lied

My original plan was to ride the Banks-Vernonia trail but it did not happen that way, I checked weather Channel yesterday and today. It looked good so I went for it; I got to leisy Road when started to sprinkle. I turned around thinking it might turn into something worse. I really wanted to ride but I do not have rain-protecting gear. The group of rain clouds disappeared. I turned around, i was weary of the dark cloud over roads, Wilkesboro and highway 47 so I rode my shorter route but that did not go so will either. It started to rain in that area to, I did not get far so I turned around headed back home.
