What A Day!
Started our ride and rode all the usual Roads to the NW, not a lot of traffic on Zion church Rd, easy left turn this time. Stopped on Kerkman Road for a picture of crimson clover.
Traveling down Dairy Creek Road we stop for a tree trimming service. We move on then my steering gets sluggish, first flat tire.
In all the miles I have gone on my bike I finally get a flat. The weird thing about the flat is that the three-millimeter cut was against the rim tape, an inspection turned up nothing so my brother checked it too, he found nothing so I continued with the repair. We got down to fern flat road and hung out at a little stream for an hour or so skipping rocks and taking some pictures.

It was getting late so we headed back home. Now it gets interesting again, We are riding down Dersham Rd passing over the bridge at highway 26. I'm thinking my rear tire is squishy or I am being paranoid. yep, it's my back tire that is flat! my brother stops way up ahead and I start waving my arms around, he rides back over, Guess what, my back tire is flat! I have already used my tire tube for the front and my brother has different tube style. Checking the clock, it is 6:40, the bike shop is still open. We give mom a call to she can get a tube from the bike shop up the street from the house. The thing is dads at school in Portland. Mom keeps trying to call him but he leaves his phone in the car because it doesn't work inside the building. While waiting I go ahead and disassemble my back tire, the cut is about 3mm long like the front, against the rim tape. It's around 8:50 PM and he called back. Says he will be home at 9:25 and they will be here at 9:45. They arrive and I change out my tube.
